There are different types of arthritis depending upon the
cause of inflammation of joints.
Rheumatic arthritis (rheumatism), osteo-arthritis; gout
arthritis; reactive arthritis; rheumatoid arthritis; tubercular
arthritis, Traumatic arthritis; gonorrheal arthritis; Syphilitic
arthritis; psoriatic arthritis; arthritis due to Osteoporesis;
arthritis due to Avascular Necrosis etc. are on few of the
common types of arthritis.
Gradation according to predictive homoeopathy
Rheumatic arthritis = inflammation of joints. This is Type-A
disease. This is inflammatory disease,
where inflammation is a predominant pathology.
Reactive arthritis = inflammation of joints. This is Type-A
disease. This is inflammatory disease where
inflammation is predominant pathology.
Traumatic arthritis = inflammation of joints. This is Type-A
disease. This is inflammatory disease where
inflammation is predominant pathology.
Rheumatoid arthritis = this involves initial inflammation
then destruction of the tissues surrounding the joints e.g.
the cartilages and synovial membrane giving rise to distortion
of the joints. This is Type-C disease ie. destructive
disease, where destruction and distortion is a
predominant pathology.
Gout arthritis = involves inflammation and deposition of
excess uric acid that is accumulated in the system. This
is Type-B disease. Here primary acute inflammatory pathology
is due to excess accumulation of serum uric acid in the
blood.
Tubercular arthritis = tubercular bacilli attack the joints
and produce inflammation + destruction of joints. This is
Type-C disease.
Gonorrheal arthritis = Gonorrhea attacks the joints and
produce inflammation + destruction of joints. This is Type-C
disease.
Syphilitic arthritis = Syphilis attack the joints and produce
inflammation + destruction of joints. This is Type-C disease.
Avascular arthritis = blood flow to the joint and the bone
is obliterated resulting in gradual of the joint. Type-C
disease
Osteoporesis = destruction of bones due to calcium depletion.
